“ The Shed is both the place we've stored away our wildest dreams and the place where the tools are stowed to turn them into a reality.”
Our dream.
Our dream is to embolden local artists, elders, creatives, problem solvers and storytellers to rebuild independent economies and uncover local solutions on our terms.
Built by and for First Nations people with an ambition to create a better tomorrow, The Shed is redefining entrepreneurship as a way of being, determined by ability and ambition, not social distinction or exclusivity.
Our way.
Our space.
We are an always-evolving studio that responds to the needs and desires of our members. Through carefully curated partnerships The Shed offers the tools and infrastructure to turn ideas into reality.
The Shed is at the heart of the community we hope to cultivate; a community that won’t be limited by its geographical location.
Our space includes:
flexible workstations and spaces for collaboration
A private meeting room with video-conferencing facilities
A studio for storytellers and creatives
Culturally responsive business start-up support for those getting off the ground
Member events that inspire and energise our community
A gallery + exhibition space for artists
